Thanks for visiting us online!  I hope you'll take a look at the following pages to find out more about what we're doing in the UD Horn Studio, or to check out some of the information of interest to all horn players.  I  frequently add new material to the site, so be sure to check back often for updates.  If you are a high school student, I encourage you to consider a campus visit and evaluation lesson as soon as possible. All horn players are welcome to make suggestions for the site, and I'd love to hear your feedback!

Undergraduate and graduate horn  students at Delaware will find each academic year to be progressively more challenging and rewarding.  Mastery of the horn, horn literature, audition preparation, and on/off campus performance opportunities are integral elements of our studio

Dr. Smith's Upcoming Performance Highlights:

• Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Kimmel Center: All Beethoven program in September, and a program of Haydn, Rameau and Lully in October.
• Opera Company of Philadelphia, performances of Ravel's L'Enfant et les Sortilèges, Puccini's Gianni Schicchi  and 'Brittens The Rape of Lucretia at the Acaemy of Music and Kimmel Center, Philadelphia.
• Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, European tour in January/February, with concerts in Italy, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and Solvenia.
• The Philadelphia Trio, Brahms Trio op. 40 in Devon, PA, April 19.
