A. Stewart Holveck (BM ’58) retired from the Red Clay School District 17 years ago and now lives in a retirement community in Maris Grove, PA.
Mike Pollock (BM '01) has been teaching at Albuquerque (NM) High School, and got his MM degree at New Mexico.
Joann Osgood (BM ‘06) is the band director at Patapsco High School and Performing Arts Center. Her wind ensemble received a superior rating at the Maryland State Band Festival. In order to be invited to the state festival, her group received a I (superior) rating at the district festival.
Lauren Heller (BM ‘04, MM ‘06) is the band director at Patuxent (MD) High School. Her wind ensemble also received a superior rating at the Maryland State Band Festival.
Brian Casey (MM '99) received his DMA in conducting from University of Northern Colorado and is now Assistant Professor at Houghton College, conducting the orchestra and teaching horn. Before attending Northern Colorado, he taught at community colleges in Kansas.
Brian Ewing (BM '01) and Valerie Gould (BM '03) both teach in the Philadelphia public schools.
Harry Cherrin (BM '02) is studying saxophone in Europe on a Fullbright fellowship.
Jared Kobos (BM '01)who worked with our Community Music School Wind Ensemble Camp, received his PhD in clarinet performance from Michigan State this spring.
