Association for Music and Technology
Hofstetter was the founding president of NCCBMI (National Consortium for Computer-Based Musical Instruction) in 1975. This organization is now ATMI (Association for Technology in Music Instruction). Arenson was a subsequent president and Hofstetter, Arenson, and Peterson have all presented multiple papers and chaired sessions at their national conferences. Murray made a single presentation at one of its national conferences, which led to his later work with WW Norton.
